政策論争が注目されたThe 2nd Debateの直前、HuffPost Politicsから俄かに信じ難い速報が流れてきた--"These might be Donald Tump's Most Disgusting Comments Yet About Women"( トランプ、女性に対し前代未聞の吐き気をもよおす発言)--11年前のモノだが、猥せつな言葉で既婚女性を口説いているTrump氏のビデオをメディアが入手した。"Lewd Donald Trump Rape Is a Breaking Point for Many in the G.O.P(トランプの猥せつビデオにGOP議員の多くは我慢の限界) --- 共和党幹部パニック状態だ--"GOP consumed by crisis as more Republicans call on Trump to quit"( 共和党員が次々とトランプ氏に大統領選からの撤退を求め幹部は危機感で憔悴)

当のTrumpはお詫びは形だけ。強気を崩さず、第二回のdebateではあれは"Locer Room Talk"(楽屋話)だと開き直り、挙句には矛先をBill Clintonに向け口撃するありさまだ。
これでは世論の火に油を注ぐようなもの。"DON IN FLAMES---Trump made it clear yet again that he's unfit to be president"(火だるまのトランプ--改めて大統領になる資格無しを証明)
遂にGOPトップPaul Ryan下院議長が堪忍袋の緒が切れTrumpに三下り半。これに対し"Shackles have been taken off"(足かせがとれた)とTrump。GOP内部は分裂状況だ。

こうした事態を中国が見逃すはずがない。大統領選では決まったように米国型民主主義の綻びを暴き、自国の一党独裁制度の優位性を論じてきた中国だ。待ってましたと新華社が"The American election again plumps new depths in its bottom line"(劣化底なしのアメリカ大統領選ー堕ちるところまで堕ちた) とこき下ろす。人民日報も負けじと社説で"For a long time, the United States trumpeted the extraordinary excitement of its elections as as a symbol of its superior institutions. It's time for this 'teacher of democracy' to put away is super self-confidence and arrogance"(長い間、米国は大統領選の異常な盛り上がりを自国の優れた制度のシンボルだと吹聴してきたが、そろそろこの民主主義の先生も自信過剰と思い上がりを放棄すべき時がきた)と主張している。
Hillary Clintonも国務長官時代のメールの私的使用やウオール街との癒着など叩けばホコリが出る。
7月のDNCでHillaryを全面的にendorseし、Stronger Together に合わせてChange to Unite のエールを送ったPresident Obamaも頭が痛かろう。
最後のDebateを目前に控え、どんな醜聞が飛び出すか? 一寸先は闇だが、Michelle Obamaが先週New Hampshireの集会において、Donal Trumpを痛烈に批判するスピーチを行った-----

" be clear: This is not normal. This is not politics as usual, This is disgraceful. It is intolerable. And it doesn't matter what party you belong to --- Democrat, Republican, Independent -- no woman deserves to be treated this way. None of us deserves this kind of abuse."
