PM Aの正体見たり!--隣国の対日感情を逆撫でして・・鉄面皮？

ロシア・中東歴訪のPM Abe。好い気なものだ。


閣僚らの靖国参拝をきっかけに中韓両国との関係が悪化しているのに、何処吹く風どころか、中韓の抗議・批判を逆手にとってよくも言えたものだ。「いくら問題、不満があるからと言って、対話の扉を閉じてはダメだ。会わないのが一番いけない」と両国に“冷静な対応”を呼びかけ、「中国も韓国も日本にとって極めて大切な隣国だ」「さまざまな課題や問題があっても、日本は冷静に対応していく。常に対話のドアは開いていく。日中、日韓関係改善のために努力していきたい」


冷静に靖国詣でをくり返し、憲法を手直しし、軍備増強を進めていくと言うのか？侵略した相手国を逆撫でする発言をくり返しながら、自らの対応を冷静かのように装い、対話を閉ざした非は相手にあると決め付けるPM Aの態度・・盗人猛々しいとはこのことだ。


中韓メディアに限らず、米英の主要紙が一斉にPM Abeを批判。保守系The Washington Post紙は“Abe's Inability to face history”(歴史に向き合えない安倍氏）のHeadlineのもと---

“An inability to face history will prejudice the more reasonable goals to which South Korea and China also object”(歴史に向き合えないとすれば、日本にとって理にかなった行為であっても、やはり中韓は反対し、偏見を持たれてしまう）

"・・his ability to promote reform at home, where many voters reamain skeptical, and to reassure suspicious plummets when he appears to entertain nostalgia for prewar empire."(彼が戦前帝国へのノスタルジーを抱いているように見えるとき、多くの有権者がまだ疑問視している国内の改革を実行する彼の能力と、疑い深い近隣諸国を安心させる能力は失墜する）
穏便に遠慮しながらも的を射たコメントだ。
The NYTはどうか。Japan's Unnecessary Nationalism(日本の不必要な国粋主義）とズバリ批判--


"Japan and China both need to work on a peaceful solution to their territorial issues. But it seems especially foolhardy for japan to inflame hostilities with China and South Korea when all countries need to be working cooperatively to resolve the problems with North Korea and its nuclear program.
Instead of exacerbating historical wounds, Mr. Abe should focus on writing Japan's future, with an emphasis on improving its long-stagnant economy and enhancing its role as a leading democracy in Asia and beyond."(日本と中国は、地球の課題を平和的に解決するためにともに働かなければならない。しかし、日本と中国、韓国が北朝鮮に関する諸問題とその核計画を解決するために協力して働きかける必要があるときに、日本が中国や韓国との敵愾心を掻き立てることは、とりわけ無鉄砲のようにみえる。
歴史の傷を悪化させる代わりに、Abe首相は、日本の長期不況を改善し、アジアその他における民主主義を先導する役割を高めることを中心として、日本の未来を示すことに集中すべきだ)
さすがに本物のジャーナリストによる重たい指摘だ。

最も厳しい批判を展開しているのが4/26付The Wall Street Journal紙だ。
One Man's Invasion is....(一人の男の侵略が...）と題して"Japan'a Prime Minister reinterprets the history of World WarⅡ"(日本の総理が第二次世界大戦の歴史を再解釈)と舌鋒鋭く批判する--

"Who started World WarⅡ? We thought that one belonged to the Department of Settled Questions, along with any lingering doubts whether the Earth orbits the sun. But Japan's Shinzo Abe has a fresh, er, interpretation."(誰が第二次世界大戦を始めたのか？我々は、これは、地球が太陽の周りを回っているのかどうかを巡る長い間と同様に決着済みの問題の１つだと考えていた。しかし、日本のAbe首相は新たな解釈を下している）
"Mr. Abe's foray into historical relativism will come as news to survivors of Pearl Harbor, the Bataan Death March or the Rape of Nanjing. Much of the world long ago forgave Japan its wartime atrocities. But it hasn't been forgotten them"( Abe氏が歴史相対主義に手を出したことは、真珠湾、バターン死の行進あるいは南京虐殺の生存者にとって驚くべきニュースだろう。世界の大多数は長い間、日本の戦時中の残虐行為を許してきた。しかし、それらを忘れた訳ではない）

"Meantime, the Prime Minister's remarks come as the Korean crisis isn't over, and as China tests Japan over its possession of the Senkaku islands(Diaoyu to the Chinese). Japan is a democracy and an ally, Mr. Abe's disgraceful remark will make his country no more friends abroad."(首相のこの発言は、朝鮮半島の危機が続き、中国が日本の尖閣諸島領有を試している最中に飛び出した。日本は民主主義国家だが、しかしPM Abeの恥ずべき発言が、海外で彼の国の友人を増やすことはないだろう）

PM Abeの言動・発言は勇ましく、内向きの日本人には受けが良いかも知れぬが、国際社会はそう甘くない。恥ずべき発言のくり返しは御免被る。世界の孤児にならないうちにお引取り願いたいものだ。
