Storm chasersまで出動したJapan Tornado

Tornadoと云えば米国中西部が本場だと思っていたらトンデモナイ。GW最終日の午後、恐怖が襲った。

英BBCのThe World Weatherがトップで伝える--“A rare tornado has ripped through the Japanese city of Tsukuba causing widespread damage and destruction”--まさに日本では珍しい竜巻災害だ。


アラブ首長国連邦、Dubaiのメディアも“Storm chasers capture Japan tornado”(竜巻突入チームが日本のtornadoを捕える)とのHeadlineで大きく掲載している--

“A tornado tore through a city northeast of Japan's capital on Sunday, killing one person, injuring dozens of others and destroying scores of houses”--「死者１人、負傷者多数、夥しい家屋の損壊・・」と被害状況も詳しく伝えている。

強度F2と云われる恐るべきJapan tornado。同時多発だったようだ。米国で恐れられているSupercellはハリケーン顔負けだ。

明日〜明後日も大気が不安定で要警戒だ。BBCの云うとおりrare tornadoであって欲しいものだ。
